Undergraduate pre-application events

University Open Days
Open to all prospective students, University Open Days are the largest scale events we hold. You can tour the campus and student residences, attend talks and workshops, speak to academic staff and meet current students.
Experience Days
Experience Days offer the opportunity to experience multiple degree options within a broad subject area. For example, you may intend to study engineering but are unsure about whether to take mechanical, electrical, automotive, chemical, petroleum or civil engineering.
Taster Days
Subject-specific Taster Days include a sample lecture in your subject of interest. These sessions are practical and give you the opportunity to experience our approach to teaching and learning in your subject.
UCAS and HE Fairs
We attend Higher Education Fairs, Careers Fairs and UCAS Fairs throughout the UK and EU. A member of LSBU’s staff or a Student Ambassador will be available to advise you and your parents on the opportunities available at LSBU. We could be visiting a fair near you.
How to Apply Evenings
How to Apply Evenings take place on campus and provide expert guidance on the application process, tips on writing personal statements, and fees and funding advice to small to medium-sized groups of prospective students.
One-to-one advice
These 30 minute face-to-face sessions with one of our experienced Advisors are booked in advance and offer you personalised support and guidance.
Campus Tours
If you’re unable to make an Open Day but still want to visit LSBU, we run Campus Tours, delivered by a current LSBU student, who will guide you around our Southwark campus and answer any of your questions on student life.

Undergraduate post-application events

Interview and Selection Days
Interview Days are a part of the application process for certain courses. You'll be invited to the LSBU campus to attend your interview with a course academic.
Offer Holder Days
Offer Holder Days give UK and EU offer-holders the chance to meet fellow offer holders from your course, find out how you’ll be taught and further details about the modules you'll study. Invitation only.
Headstart Days
Headstart Days are held annually just before the summer starts. If you have received an offer to study at LSBU these events offer you a headstart on your studies. You'll attend a subject-specific seminar and receive further information on induction and enrolment process and timings. Invitation only.
Student Shows and Events
Throughout the year current LSBU students showcase the work that they have produced during their course. Invitations to attend these events will be sent to LSBU offer holders.
Campus Tours
If you’re unable to make an Open Day but still want to visit LSBU, we run Campus Tours, delivered by a current LSBU student, who will guide you around our Southwark campus and answer any of your questions on student life.

School and College events
