Nursing and midwifery test
As part of the application process, we require Nursing and Midwifery applicants to attend a numeracy test session. Below is some useful information to help you prepare, along with some sample questions so you can practice in advance of the day.
Following the test session, successful applicants will be invited to attend an interview with our academics and Trust partners.
What to bring with you
You need to bring photographic proof of ID (such as a driving licence/passport) and your 10 digit personal UCAS ID number with you to the assessment.
The test is computer-based. If you have any support needs and require reasonable adjustments, please email the Admissions Team on receipt of an invitation to the test.
Please make sure you have read our nursing test Terms and Conditions (PDF File 87 KB).
The numeracy test lasts 30 minutes. The test consists of 10 questions and includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, as well as conversion of decimals to fractions, and fractions to decimals.
If you have any support needs and require reasonable adjustments please email the Admissions Team before your test.
