How to apply
Apply for one of our flexible, industry-focused undergraduate courses
The standard method to apply for our courses is outlined below. Any variations to this will be highlighted in entries in our Course Finder.
Home and EU students apply via UCAS
All Home and EU students applying for any of our full-time undergraduate degree, Foundation degree, Higher National Diplomas or pre-registration nursing programmes apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
Apply to UCAS using the LSBU institution code L75 and the unique UCAS code given for each course in our Course Finder.
If you submit your UCAS application by the 15 January deadline you will usually know your offers by the end of March. Read about key application dates and deadlines.
International students can apply direct to LSBU
International students (non-EU) can complete the LSBU Online Application Form on the International How to apply page.
If your course is not listed on the LSBU Online Application Form you can submit an application via UCAS.
If you're applying for any part-time course or apprenticeship, excluding all of our part-time health courses, you can apply online directly to LSBU.
Students for health courses can find full specific details of how to apply by searching our Course Finder.
International (non-EU) part-time students can apply directly to the University via the LSBU Online Application Form on the International How to apply page or through UCAS. If you require a Tier 4 General Student visa to enter or remain in the UK you would not be eligible for part-time study.
Disability and dyslexia support
You should disclose a disability, dyslexia, medical or mental health condition on your application form. You will then receive a questionnaire from our Disability and Dyslexia Support (DDS). They want to know how your disability affects your ability to study and what reasonable adjustments, such as extra time or enlarged text, you need to support your studies.
If you did not disclose a disability at the time of applying and want to do so now, contact Disability and Dyslexia Support on 020 7815 6405.
For applicants with disabilities, additional government funding is available through the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).
Receiving an offer
We consider all the information you provide on your application form or produce at interview to decide if we can make you an offer. Read more about what happens when we make you an offer: UK/EU students and international (non-EU) students.
University policies, regulations and procedures
In order to keep you fully informed, it is important that you are aware of the University policies, regulations and procedures that apply to you. The latest versions of these documents can be found on our website. It is your responsibility to read these and make yourself aware of any updates.
