Scholarships and fee discounts
Financial help through scholarships, bursaries, charitable funds and loans
London South Bank University (LSBU) offers considerable financial help through scholarships, bursaries, charitable funds, loans and other financial support.
For undergraduate students joining us in September 2018 we offer an Access Bursary. With the bursary, we're offering up to 100 £1,000 cash bursaries for part-payment of fees or to spend on other university services.

The Elite Sports Programme is run by the Academy of Sport at LSBU to support talented sportsmen and women balance their sporting, academic and personal lives.
The programme is one of the largest in the UK and offers:
- A scholarship of up to £3,000 to students participating in the Academy's focus sport, Basketball. Applicants must have a high level of performance and be playing at a minimum of Basketball England National League Division 2
- A bursary of up to £1,500 is available to students taking part in any sport.
All applications for the scholarship and bursary are considered by a panel with awards being made on merit. In exceptional circumstances, the panel may choose to award the applicant with a higher amount.

Lawrence Burrows Educational Trust Fund
LSBU full-time undergraduate students from a West Indian or Asian background can apply for the Lawrence Burrows Scholarship. The Lawrence Burrows Educational Trust was established in 1995. It has six trustees, most of whom were personally connected with Mr Burrows. They are dedicated to fulfilling his wish to benefit a wide range of young people.

Care Leavers' support
LSBU has the Buttle UK Quality Mark which recognises institutions that go the extra mile to support students from public care. For September 2018, Care Leavers/Care Experienced students under 25 who start a full-time undergraduate course will be eligible to apply for a travel allowance of up to £1,000.

The Scholarship Hub
The Scholarship Hub is a social enterprise committed to reinvesting a percentage of their profits into developing new scholarships. As a result, they have introduced the Money for Books Scholarship, open to all UK students both undergraduate and postgraduate.
