Our teaching excellence has been recognised by the Government
We've been awarded a silver rating for teaching excellence under the Government's Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
We're really proud to have been recognised for our focus on personalised learning, with an emphasis on how we support graduates into employment.
In particular, the TEF panel highlighted our:
- excellent student outcomes
- excellent teaching and personalised learning
- courses that are designed to give students skills and knowledge valued by employers
Vice-Chancellor Professor David Phoenix said: "This award demonstrates the significant progress LSBU has made over the last few years in improving the experience we provide for our students."
Why not read our Supporting Statement to TEF.
As well as our silver TEF rating, we're in The Guardian's top 100 universities, two international university league tables, and we've been named The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 University of the Year for Graduate Employment and Times Higher Education's Entrepreneurial University of the Year 2016.
